The pathology department is an integrated, hospital-based, full service anatomic and clinical laboratory facility. The department continues to institute new techniques and modify older methods to perfect the diagnosis of malignancy and the reporting of prognostic information. The pathologists strive to provide the support, innovation, and leadership that our clinical and surgical colleagues require in the diagnosis and management of cancer at Little Company of Mary Hospital.

 
The Pathology Department offers comprehensive clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services to support the diagnostic, treatment and clinical management of neoplastic diseases.

The laboratory offer a large erray of blood tests such a biochemical and hormonal tumor markers. Some of the markers are excellent cancer screening tests, while others help predict disease recurrence.
