Recent studies of advanced diagnostic low dose spiral CT lung imaging suggest that lung cancer may be diagnosed in many patients earlier and with a much higher chance of cure. Little Company of Mary Hospital is pleased to offer a new lung cancer screening program for high-risk people (smokers, former smokers and those exposed to significant second-hand smoke). The CT lung screening is not covered by most insurance plans. Patients are responsible for all costs at time of service. Screening results will be sent to your physician.
