Born and raised in the small village of Atu’u on the Pacific Island of American Samoa, Dr. Ma’o completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Hawaii, Manoa. He completed his medical residency at the UCLA Veteran’s Administration hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Ma’o is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is currently the only practicing Samoan physician in Southern California. He is dedicated to providing his patients — particularly the local Samoan population — with the education and medical care necessary to lead healthy, productive lives.
