A resident of Hermosa Beach, Dr. Weinstein began pursuing his goal of becoming a doctor in Rochester, New York. He began his medical training at the University of Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico and returned to his native New York to complete his training at university hospitals in New York City, Buffalo and Syracuse. In addition, he did a burn fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md.

He enjoys providing family, urgent and industrial care, and devoting time to his special medical interests — nutrition, hand injuries and burns. When he has time, Dr. Weinstein finds pleasure in golfing, traveling, rollerblading, skiing and speaking Spanish.
