Dr. Okawa was born at Little Company of Mary Hospital and raised in Torrance. He earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at UCLA and his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He returned to California to complete his Residency in Internal Medicine in San Diego. He has since returned to the South Bay and is excited to be serving the community in which he grew up. Dr. Okawa dedicates his time to both inpatient and outpatient medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys running, basketball, golf, and playing the guitar.
