Raised in Pasadena, David Speiser, MD, completed his medical degree at UC Irvine and moved to New York City for his internship and residency. There he found himself on the forefront of the movement for minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques. Dr. Speiser is a leading OB/ GYN laparoscopic surgeon in the South Bay. In 2008 he moved his 18-year-old practice from Long Beach to San Pedro.

Dr. Speiser’s passion for obstetrics began during his medical training. The first time he delivered a baby he knew that the field of obstetrics and gynecology was where he wanted to devote his life.

Outside of work, Dr. Speiser is a devoted father and husband and takes great joy in his family life. He also surfs, skis, scuba dives, bikes, and is a gourmet cook. Dr. Speiser listens to and treats his patients as he himself would like to be treated – with full attention, respect, and compassion.
