Throughout her career, it has been Dr. Ahamed’s goal to form a partnership with her patients, to take that extra step in order to ensure that she delivers the best possible healthcare and to be available to all of her patients should they have any questions or concerns.

She specializes in improving the quality of the lives of those patients that have diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, gout, high blood pressure, high cholesterol as well as many other medical problems. When she meets a patient, she regards this as an opportunity to help them improve the outcomes of their disorders, to help them get involved in managing their health concerns and to work with them, as a team, to fight the problematic areas of their diagnoses.

During her time away from the clinic, Dr. Ahamed enjoys traveling with her husband, playing table tennis, volunteering in the community and avoiding cooking.
