Residency: Northridge Family Medicine Residency
Born in Vietnam, Dr. Pham moved to California at the tender age of
eight months. He left his hometown of Huntington Beach to study
anthropology at UC Berkeley, where he first learned the importance of
culture, language and social systems in shaping an individuals
health. Even after medical school, he continued to explore those early
lessons by training in medical acupuncture at UCLA and public health in
Boston, both of which he incorporates into his everyday practice as a
family physician.
He is a strong believer in using the latest evidence- based technologies
to manage chronic diseases and to promote health, but also integrating
them with complementary approaches to well-being.
In his free time, he enjoys exploring the South Bay (and beyond) with
his wife, teaching UCLA medical students, and playing electric guitar
a little too loudly.
