Born in Taiwan, Dr. Chen came to the United States with his parents
and brother at the age of four. He grew up mostly in the upstate
region of New York and earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical
Engineering and Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT). After college, he moved to Southern California and worked as
an electrical engineer at Teradyne Corp. However, he wanted to do
something more meaningful and thus went back to school and earned
his medical degree.
Currently, Dr. Chen devotes his time to inpatient care at Providence
Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance as a
hospitalist.
He resides in Redondo Beach with his wife and son. In his spare time,
he enjoys building and fixing computers, fixing up his house and spending
time with his family.
