Our qualified and caring staff, including board-certified emergency medicine physicians and specially trained and certified emergency nurses, along with advanced technology, allow us to provide the South Bay communities with quality emergency medical care.

Little Company of Mary Hospital Emergency Department provides a full range of emergency services. It is also designated as a paramedic base station and an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) by the Los Angeles County Health Department.

Privacy and comfort, as well as efficiency and flexibility, had been carefully considered in the modernization of the department. Little Company of Mary – San Pedro Hospital Emergency Department is a Level II Emergency Department, providing full emergency care services. The department is a designated Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.

Recently our the Department has expanded to meet the growing need for services in our community. The number of patient rooms has almost doubled to fifteen treatment rooms and includes four resuscitation rooms, two cardiac rooms, four observation rooms, a gynecological treatment room, a pediatric room and three general treatment rooms.
